Tahoe Donner® Maintains A Large Netwok of Hiking Trails.
Home owners and their guests can spend minutes or hours hiking the trail network within Tahoe Donner®.
Tahoe Donner's well maintained trail system offers many miles of spring, summer, and fall hiking or mountain biking. Trails are well marked as they wind through the neighborhoods and into the open space.
The Alder Creek Trail provides hikers with the opportunity to explore the natural water environment. This trail joins the Donner Memorial Trail which ends at Stampede Reservoir.

Hikers can enjoy the many displays of fall colors around and in Tahoe Donner.®

Early season hikers are liable to come across some remaining snow fields.
Spring hikers who look closely in shaded areas might see the "snow flower" emerging.
