Amenities, Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center

The equestrian center offers property owners and their guests the convenience of boarding their own horses or the opportunity of renting a horse to enjoy the 100 Kilometers of riding trails that are adjacent to the Tahoe National Forest and Castle Peak Wilderness areas. Winding through the pine forests, aspen groves, and meadows of EuerValley, these trails let you experience the great beauty of the Sierra Nevada.

The always friendly wranglers offer riding lessons, care for their equine friends and coordinate special events including Wagon Rides, Adult Full Moon Rides, Friday Night Barbecue Rides, Horsemanship Camp, and Pony Rides. Stalls, covered paddocks and open paddocks are available for boarding.

The Center's opening and closing is weather dependent; opening usually is in late May/early June and closing in early-October.

Experienced staff are on hand to care for your equestrian friends.
