Amenities, Tahoe Donner Championship Golf Course

The Tahoe Donner™ 18-hole championship golf course is available to all Tahoe Donner homeowners and their guests. Their is limited public play. Homeowners and guests receive priority scheduling of tee times and they receive significant discounts on green fees.

Winding through the trees in the center area of Tahoe Donner, this high Sierra Nevada mountain course offers a challenge to all levels of golfers. Always weather dependent, the course generally opens mid-to-late May and remains open to mid-October.

The new clubhouse with pro shop is open where you will find equipment, rental clubs and carts, lessons and clinics. Homeowners may purchase season passes for either midweek (Sunday thru Thursday) or weekly and 10- and 20-play discount packages are available.

Special tournaments are hosted by the men's and women's clubs, by Tahoe Donner, and by local organizations. Any weekend tournament with the exception of the Tahoe Donner Invitational and the Tahoe Donner Championship must be scheduled for afternoon play. This gives part-time residents greater opportunity to schedule individual tee times.

Men's Golf Club play day is every Wednesday; Women's Golf Club and Women's 9-Holer Club play day is every Tuesday.

Junior golf has a strong role at Tahoe Donner with lessons and tournaments throughout the summer months. Junior golfers play day is on Thursday.

Golfers are treated to a colorful display of foliage during late September and early October.

Operations come to an end in mid-October to allow ground crews to prepare the course for winter. Work begins by plugging and treating the greens.

Spring brings a busy time to the Tahoe Donner groundskeepers as they prepare the course for summer operations.

Greens are cleared of snow. Tarps are provided to thwart frosty nights.
