The Ski Area hosts many fun-filled Tahoe Donner events such as Christmas with Santa, Truckee Elementary Benefit Day, Snow Carnival, and Winter Beach Party. If you want a special treat for your guests on New Year’s Eve, be sure to take them to the annual Torchlight Parade at the Ski Hill! Tahoe Donner property owners and guests can either be spectators or strap on some skis and join the line of skiers as they wind their way down the slopes.

For Tahoe Donner real estate owners who want to learn how to ski or snowboard, lessons and teams are available for skiing and snowboarding ages 7 and up, ranging from beginner to advanced are offered by friendly, world-class athletes. For children 3 to 6, the Snowflake Ski School teaches them how to ski in a safe environment and is instructed by a well-trained staff. They have their own room just for kids and five levels of guidance to meet your child’s needs.

For Tahoe Donner skiers and snowboarders who want to not only improve their skills but make friends as well, ski and snowboard teams are open for ages 3 to 6, ages 7 to13, and racing teams are available for skiers who want to take their skills to the next level. Seniors ages 55 and over are instructed by experts on up-to-date skiing techniques in the Senior Ski Program.

Are you an experienced snowboarder or skier but only have a few hours free? Then you will love Tahoe Donner’s ski hill! The ease of getting there, the absence of long lines, and enough intermediate runs make this hill an enjoyable experience for the most accomplished snowboarder or skier in your group.

The Tahoe Donner Ski Area has a sports shop located on the premises. They offer items for men, women and children such as fleece, Columbia Sportswear, gloves, hats, helmets, goggles and sunglasses. They also sell sunscreen, cameras and film. Complete rental packages are available and Tahoe Donner members receive a 10% discount!
